The Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina is located on the pituresque Mackay Marina approx 10mins from the city centre. Mackay Marina Village, 10 minutes drive from the CBD. Also at the Marina Village are various bars and restaurants and a General Store. Harbour beach lies approx. 300m from the Hotel. Departing from the marina are cruises to Brampton and Scawfell Island, there is also jet ski hire and deep sea fishing trips. Local attractions include Eungella National Park, Artspace and Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens.

The Hotel has a number of different areas in which to hold conferences and functions. There is a boardroom on the first floor which opens out onto a large balcony terrace that overlooks the marina.
