The Federation Ballroom is Hobart`s largest and most flexible function space. With the capacity of 1100 on banquet rounds and 1600 in a theatre style set the Federation Ballroom really makes an impact. The Federation Ballroom has seen some of Tasmania’s largest fundraising functions with the Royal Hobart Hospital Research Foundation Breakfast and the Ronald McDonald Children’s Charity Ball to name a few. The 35 x 35 metre ballroom is also capable of holding up to 90 trade booths making the room ideal for large exhibitions

The Federation Concert Hall is an impressive tiered auditorium with the capacity for 1100 delegates. The hall is home to the world renowned Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and its acoustics are second to none. With a gleaming Tasmanian hardwood stage and state of the art audio visual the Federation Concert Hall makes a perfect plenary area.

The Grand Ballroom is a versatile room that can be split into three sections. This room lends itself to a variety of conference and events requirements. The Grand Ballroom is capable of a plenary for 600 people or 3 breakout rooms of 200. The Grand Ballroom has also hosted some of Tasmania’s most prestigious gala dinners of up to 400 guests.

The Mezzanine Foyer is the entrance to the Hotel’s major conference and events facilities. With stunning views over the waterfront the mezzanine makes an ideal location for a working lunch, pre dinner drinks or a steaming cup of coffee. Harbour View One is arguably Hobart`s stunning dinning and meeting venues. Harbour View One has floor to ceiling glass providing the most spectacular view of Hobart’s working docks. The venue is capable of holding 180 diners in style and comfort. The room is also ideal for cocktail parties, weddings and working breakfasts

Harbour View Two is a small dining room capable of seating up to 60 guests. The room has floor to ceiling glass windows looking over the Hobart waterfront. Harbour View two is ideal for private dinners, small cocktail parties and launches.

One of the Hotel`s more intimate function rooms. The room is capable of seating 60 delegates in a theatre style set, 36 in a classroom set, 20 in a board style set and 60 in a banquet style set. Chancellor Four is commonly used as a small meeting room as its enclosed area is ideal for AV presentations to small groups. The area is also used as a speaker’s preparation area for our larger conferences where presentations are effortlessly sent to the main plenary rooms via the wireless internet server.

Chancellor Five is The Hotel`s executive board room and has a permanent board style table that can seat up to 20 delegates. Chancellor Five is ideal for your next board meeting for a conference committee to use during an event.  
Chancellor Six 120 50 - - 80 - 120 - - - -
Located off the lobby Chancellor Six is capable of seating 120 in a theatre style set, 120 on Banquet rounds, 50 in a classroom set and up to 150 for a stand up cocktail function. Chancellor Six is just the right size for your office function or a fourth breakout area.
